shock boat pics
Hopefully I have uploaded these photos correctly so you can all see them. Here are some pics of our shock boat. The first few pics show what the boat looked like before and the other ics show the boat after rebuilding it for the final time hopefully. I will see if wendy has any of pics of the boat when it was sunk in the gulf of mexico.

It might have been worth it. Lots of improvements.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

That's a heck of an improvement! What made it turn turtle on dry land? Did it suddenly decide that it wanted some sun on it's belly?

The pictures with the boat on its side sitting in the middle of a dirt road occurred a couple of years ago early one morning. Not sure what happened first but the brackets holding the leaf springs and the leaf springs broke on one side of the trailer. So the axel was not connected to one side of the trailer which allowed the axle and tire to swing under the trailer and boat. As soon as the tire hit the underside of the boat the boat flew into the air and landed on its side. Other than the trailer, the only thing the broke was the rail at the front of the boat and depth finder bracket. Luckily we were able to borrow a flat bed trailer and were able to shock five lakes that day while our trailer was getting fixed. We are also fortunate that it didn�t happen on the interstate in the middle of Atlanta and this past spring I had a new heavy duty trailer built for the boat.

I hear you about trailers.  I once had an amphaicat get loose in highway traffic due to trailer failure. Going along about 60 when I hear a thump and feel a jerk - then the amphaicat passes me as I slow down bouncing 6-8 feet in the air. Cars going in the ditches trying to avoid the missile. Trailer pin broke tipping the trailer which caused a cross piece to break and sever the main tiedown. Only thing damaged was the trailer. Amphaicat and all cars were ok.
