I am going to use the Silver Cup feed because that is what we have locally. What sizes though? I want to feed a wide spectrum, fry to adult. The sizes in consideration are 5.5mm at 15%, 3.5mm floating at 45% 3mm slow sinking at 30% and #3 powder at 10%. I don't know if the golden shiner fry and fatheads will eat that powder, hoping they do.
Can I mix it up, should I?

You're running short on time this year to feed. Usually feeding dry food stops around low 60 degree water temp.
In a pond setting, with a whole bunch of different sized fishes, from that range of food, I'd go with the 3.5mm floating.
I've seen BG as small as 2" pecking at AM600, which is around 1/4" or slightly larger.

Mixing sizes and types is often a good idea if you have different sizes and or types of fish.

ewest, would the different % of protein make any difference on what food was better? Would you mix floating and sinking food?
