Pendot installed a 36inch stormwater drain that flows about 3 acres to my pond. The old drain was 18. I have digging the chanel 2ft wider and 1ft deep because the new water flow blows out and washes everything down hill. The channel runs about 2 acres. I have it halfway down from the road and about 100yards going to the pond. Qustion is I have 4-6 inch limestone, should I fill the channel or just line it? I am just about done putting about 12 inches through the entire channel.

I'd be tempted just to line it. I think that if you fill it, it will soon be packed with dirt.

That's what im thinking. im gona fill the last stretch 30ft or so just as a final trap I can dig out every so often. Thinking when this storm hits I will get a good idea how it flows.
