I've been using a sand filled hose to weigh down my bubble hose for 3 seasons now.
If you have a steep hill lay the hose down that or from a second or third story window and attach a funnel at the filling end, it's time consuming to get the hose filled with sand but it's a good cheap method of keeping an airline on the bottom.

Do sections, then you can also space it on your tubing to make it cover more tube.. 2-3 foot sections then maybe melt the ends shut.. Just an idea..
I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease.. BG. CSBG. LMB. HSB. RES.

The sand and the inside of the hose have to be dry for it to continue to flow. Once it gets wet it clumps and won't flow.

Well my sand was all wet so I filled the hose with crushed limestone I had from a project, worked great you can hear where the gravel travels in the hose to make sure it's filled. I cut the bottom off a 2 liter bottle then screwed it to the hose as a funnel.
