Last couple of weeks when I have fed the fish, they are stirring up mud. If the weather man is right and we are not gonna get any significant rain until maybe October, I believe it will be over for the Rockin M pond. I have had 3 inches of measurable rain since last October. We have had over 46 days straight of over 100 degrees. It's been brutal. If I loose the pond I don't think I will start over. Nature has won.

Sometimes you gotta hit rock bottom.. Now atleast if you do rebuild you'll know the worst case scenario, so plan accordingly..

heybud, hopefully a tropical storm will swing in and dump some rain. I hate to see the problems that everyone ia having down there.

My place out by Abilene got 1 inch this morning. WOOHOO!! Depending on where you are Heybud, you should've got a little of it.
It's true hard work never killed anybody, but I figure, why take the chance?

i am sorry to hear this heybud. i know yer pain. i have been thinking about all you texans and what yer going through..
on a bright note, we were blessed with a prolonged wet season this year. alot of you oldtimers on this forum are familiar w/ my drought woes here in nor cal, but this year our pond has more water in it at this time of the summer than ever before.
in a little bit here (cocktail hour of course) i'll be tippin one back for you larry, keep us posted, fingers crossed you get some wet stuff soon.
GSF are people too!

Getting depressing. 3 out of 4 years of drought.
I think you'll stock it again. I couldn't look at a full pond without stocking.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
