Hey Bob, Debbie, and crew, my wife and I had a great time at Cedar Lodge this year, and we are so looking forward to next years event.
I have about a 3/4 acre pond, soil is all clay and holds water very well, stays a little muddy due to the amount of catfish. I dye the water to maintain a blue green appearance, and have stocked with LMB, BG, Tilapia, Grass Carp, Blue Cats, Hydrid stripers, and fatheads. Fish seem to be doing very well. I feed them with Purina Game fish chow, and Aquamax.
My questions is it seems that all the fish we catch, seem to have very little color, almost faded out. Is this something i should be worried about, or should i be checking the chemistry of the water for problems?
Thanks again for a great conference, and Michelle is still talking about the Bloody Mary's and "almost getting to ride in your luggage to Talladaga with you and Johnny Morris", or at least thats her version.
