I hate to ask this, but are they generic BG? I stocked CNBG, RES and Hybrids. I do have a few native BG as well.
And if there is any doubt, Yes I am new at this.....

highflyer, what would be considered "generic" bluegill?... Native bluegill would generally be considered the northern strain. Then again, in texas, and elsewhere sunfish are all "generic" perch.

If you mean pure BG, yes, that's my guess.

If I had to guess from those pics I would say fish 2 is a native BG. Fish 1 could be a CNBG but it is based only on the bars difference from the No. 2 BG.

the one on the right or second is defintely a bg but the first picture looks almost like a sunfish or possibly a red breast they look pretty close to the sunfish at a young stage i don't think it is a bg though

While the mouths look large, so do the eyes. There isn't any color on the margins of the fins, so in my book that rules out GSF. I'm thinking BG or CNBG.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Guys, thanks for the help, I just got back from the pond with new pictures of 5 YOY. I think two are CNBG and the rest I think are BG, but I'll post them and ask again for the wisdom of the crowd.
