I shall use the classic probing interview technique of answering a question with a question - Does that phrase conjure the same disturbing image in your brain when you read it?

I take it the BCNCP (spelled out) has to actually be posted? I mean, when we bump up this thread with an updated number of days, the words will be there for all to see, thus defeating the purpose of hoping it isn't mentioned. How's that for over analyzing this thing?

I take it the BCNCP (spelled out) has to actually be posted? I mean, when we bump up this thread with an updated number of days, the words will be there for all to see, thus defeating the purpose of hoping it isn't mentioned. How's that for over analyzing this thing? I think in the interests of all involved, I need to simply use the abbreviation in the original post. Newcomers who are puzzled by the abbreviation (is that a Black Crappie Northern Chain Pickerel?) will just have to read historically on the site to learn what the heck it is! I supposed my intent here is to ensure that we just don't encourage JHAP to produce a new mention of the verboten object as opposed to seeing it listed here. Think of it like those safety signs you see at large industrial plants - "Accident Free Days - 238" or whatever. Ultimately, again, we're trying to give JHAP a little encouragement through public recognition of his restraint for each day he can go without mentioning the BCNCP. Now how's THAT for over analyzing?!

It's sad to say that the photo that inspired me to first post about the BCNCP has mysteriously disappeared. But my first mention of the very useful multi purpose apparel item was in this thread. Where are you on the Map? It doesn't make as much sense now that the photo has disappeared from the thread.
