Esshup is right it depends if you have to move clay from any distance. The efficiency drops alot after 50 yds. Also a sheepfoot packer will do 250+ psi packing pressure and our pull scraper is rated at 36 psi ground pressure. They are built to float not pack.
If the equipment and man power are available you can pack areas right behind the dozer and the project wouldn't take very long.
