Thanks for the quick feedback guys. I just wanted to clarify a couple things.
Why wasn't the design of the pond followed in the first place?
I've asked the same thing myself. It's had several owners since the pond was built and I wasn't able to track down the owner that had the pond put in. I was told he just had it in his head to have a pond that was 30' deep even though he was advised against it.
To clarify one of my questions: How long would it take to move the 18" of clay from the the side of the pond and layer the bottom with it? What I was asking here is just that; can this be done in a couple days, weeks, etc... assuming an operator experienced with the equipment and building ponds.
To add another, how is the knitting normally done. Is 6" put down, then equipment switched from dozer to roller, and on and on?
