Pinetar, are these streams only coming from the pond, or are they feeding the pond? If coming from the pond, my concern is that you might not have enough water available to you to accomplish what you want.
The pump would have to be good sized. 3"-6" of water loss per week in a 2 ac pond = roughly 326,000 gallons of water. You'd have to pump a minimum of 30 to 35 gallons per minute 24/7 to equal that loss.
