Kelly Duffie and others with experiences should advise us on this topic of Cutrine Plus Granular for Chara control. I have found Chara a difficult plant to control. I would like to know the best way to deal with fairly tall beds of 12" 24" thick with Chara. Hey Bill that is exactly what I have. I got beds of it so thick my lure will rest on top of it. My GC don't seem to be doing much to it either. I only have 4 in the pond and didn't want to put anymore in there if it's not going to make a difference. I would like to go around the pond and at least spot treat in about 4 spots so I could at least fish in the summer time. As it is now its pretty dang hard to catch anything. It also has to be hard for any of my bass to find any fish in that stuff to eat.
The only difference between a rut and a Grave is the depth. So get up get out of that rut and get moving!! Time to work!!
