I fully agree with ESSHUPs post.
First, I would not worry about the weight of feed you are putting out.
My feeder runs for two seconds at 7:00 AM and four seconds at 7:30 PM. That is the amount of food that gets eaten in 15-20 minutes. I feed a variety of feeds with different weight densities. In general it is about 10 lbs. per week in my 0.7 acre pond.
Consumption vs. waste is my feeding critera.
