I need help identifying this plant Bassman -- I unfortunately can't -- certainly not with any reliability. If you are anywhere near close to your state Extension Service office, I would guess they have at least one aquaculturist on the staff who could identify it. They do not charge for such services.

Yes (depending on your goals). Less Chara might mean more FA.
