I was at my lake yesterday and went to a spot where I'd seen a LMB spawning last year. Sure enough there was one there this time - looked like the eggs had been laid and the male (?) was there guarding the nest. I had about twenty 2" live worms and started tossing them in. The LMB didn't "hammer" them, but it did stay right there and eat them one-at-a-time as I tossed them in - 5' away. LMB was about 2#. Kinda interesting and fun.
