Hello again everybody! I've been out of pocket for awhile. Deployment to Afghanistan, work, etc, tends to get in the way. Anyway, due to the drought, our lake is WAY down and if the rain Gods don't do their thing we're screwed on several levels! What was once 8 acres is now down to 3 or so. I've fished it several times and have caught a few bass and they ain't healthy. One of them was 19" long and barely weighed in at 2lbs. They're skinny and hungry! What bluegill and redear we have left are too big for the bass and cats(no idea how many we have left) to eat and every time they nest the fry are cleaned up by marauding bass since there is zero cover for them. I've thrown brush etc in but it doesn't help. Vegetation doesn't want to play along either. Oh and the water is pretty cloudy as well. In essence the fish are eating themselves out of house and home. What can we do? Any suggestions? Hell, we're praying for a Hurricane!

First off, THANK YOU for your service. We wouldn't be able to do things like this if it wasn't for people like you.
Now on to the pond. Aside from a torrential downpour, the only thing that will help is for you to catch and keep out of the pond every LMB that you can. Realistically you have a 3 or so acre pond that has enough LMB in it for 8 ac. There is no possible way that you can put enough food in the pond for them. Go fishing, and fish hard and often. Invite friends over to fish for LMB. Toss back the BG, but like I said, keep every LMB that you catch and have multiple fish dinners for everyone you know.

Sorta like Esshup said, in Texas you have a 2 to 3 acre pond that has an outside chance of occasionally becoming 8. Get those scrubby bass out whenever you can.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the advice guys. Yeah short of a downpour we'll be dry by August. It was consistently full and stayed at the 8 acre mark up until late last year when the spigot in the sky quit working. Let the fishing begin!!!
