Anyone correct me where I wrong, but doing some feeding now, if the bluegill will take it, may help in your overall survival rates.

I don't have any feeders at my pond because they would sprout legs and run away, but we do hand feed, and it's nice as a tool to see what comes up to eat.

I understand you're points about trying to limit nutrient load for low water times.
