If anyone needs a little extra fertilization, i'll be glad to send along one of the 3 families of geese that have taken up residence this year. One had 3 "little" ones, another has 4, and then there is the 7 sibling gang waddleing around fertilizing everything.

This discussion is of great interest to me. I've just installed a 3 diffuser system and am working my way up to 12 hours. Previously I had a churner running for much of the time and it seemed to stir things up too much and make alot of noise.

I need to extend it further out and have ordered another 25' of bottom hose this morning (thanks,Ted).

With the tilapia that Rex delivered last week, I hope to clear up some issues I have.

I also spoke with a geologic engineer yesterday that was doing some foundation test borings at the site for a new house. He confirmed how to address the leak.....this could get ugly expensive ! But I need to wait until later this summer when the water is down.

thanks to all, great info here.

Esshup........As expected he said solving the problem can only be effectively done by digging out the rock corner 2-3 feet, and refilling the whole area with bentonite layer then layer in 2-3 feet of clay soil with a sheepsfoot. Since we will be digging the foundation for the house, he said the test samples they took showed I had real good clay about 2 feet down. So, at least, I have a good, close source for the clay.
I've been through two episodes of drill and grout and it works for awhile then the water finds a new route through the limestone.

More rain today and it is full & great looking. Later this summer that project will begin.
