I do not see any water behind my dam which is 2/3 of the circumference of an approx 80 foot diameter pond but is very deep and has steep banks.
it leaks an 1 inch or a little more a day and this Texas dought has not helped and i think it is contributing to the quickness of the leak. I believe this is a seep due to the steepens of the banks or slope on the sides of the pond - do not break the 3 by 1 pond rule is the thing to watch out for.
