About 2-3 weeks ago we did some dirt work to the bank. Beavers had dug all underneath it and the ground was caving in. Ever since then the water has been very dirty and has not shown any improvement. Even prior to the work the water has alway been murky. By reading a few other post about the need for vegetation and how my pond lacked any I thought I would see about fertilizing it. Will aeration increase the visibility in a pond? I have been considering a windmill aerator.
