Crappie fishing? Good luck! Thanks for the vote!
We were originally thinking bass fishing. We knew some others that have been going to Black Lake for years for bass and highly recommended it. So we booked the trip only to find out that part of NY is closed for bass fishing this time of year - even catch & release. So I guess we'll be targeting pike and walleye. Maybe crappie but we haven't fished for them before.
Not sure how you can tell/prove if we were targeting bass though...
