rerun R Joined: May 2011 Posts: 18 mississippi/gulf coast	does anyone know if grass carp will eat the roots/plant of the alligator weed. i have pulled out alot of it but i can not reach the middle and one side of the pond. i would rather not use chemical unless it is my final option to get most of it out of the pond. i want to leave some for smaller fish to grow and spawn. and will running the pump help with these plants
