Welcome Lance! From the picture, the LMB seems to be in very good condition.

Do the other LMB seem to have big heads and skinny bodies? Look in the archives. There is a thread on relative weight, and also another thread on how to identify the different types of sunfish (BG, RES, GSF, etc.). Take a look at that one and let us know what type of sunfish you have in the pond. I know down there "perch" is what they're called, but in the rest of the country that usually means Yellow Perch. That will help us with your questions.
