How far away is your shed? Garden hose would work, I have a 1/2 inch heater hose about 2 feet long then I go into plastic flex tubing for about 12 feet then I go into 5/8 inch ID 75 feet of weighted hose from there. You could use a garden hose though and just adapt it to the weighted hose from there. The weighted hose is a must it's awesome!! And makes life easy. There are a few guys here though that live in Indiana and might be able to give you a better suggestion to use for the type of weather you have up there.
