Take someone new fishing at your pond. They'll be hooked forever.

Tons of AGGRESSIVE turtles or just tons of turtles? My experience is snappers aren't usually aggressive unless handled. What is going on that you find them aggressive? Every snapper I've come across either darts off or ignores me.

Aggressive turtles. Like one instance I releasing a bluegill in the water. The snapping turtle comes up and tries to grab my hand to get the bluegill. Luckly by an inch I could had a mangled finger or could have lost my finger.

Ok, thought you meant aggressive towards you, which I've never seen. you can't change their behavior, obviously, but you can either attempt to eliminate by shooting or trapping...or not putting your hand in the water holding something they want. wink

After careful consideration of your situation (all the while trying to turn down the volume of a certain Chuck Berry tune that is reverberating around my cranium) I strongly suggest that you don't swim in your pond naked.

If it were me, I'd trap out the darn turtles before you are relieved of a favorite appendage.

And that's all I have to say about that.
