Just getting started on the new house. I'm doing some of the work myself but most of it will be done by a local guy. I started clearing the spot. I'll get better pics of the view to the pond in the next few weeks when I get some of the trees cleared out. I'm trying to keep all the big ones. It will be a 50' x 100' metal building. Half of that will be barn/storage for my toys and a corner for my gun/reloading room. The other half will be the house. It will have a 12' wide deck accross the backside . The new site is on a hill overlooking the big pond.

I don't know much about running a dozer as you can see but I'll get it. I was just "trying" this one.It turned out to be a little bit small for what I need so I'm still looking for a bigger one. I'm in no hurry. My ranch has an old rock house on it that works for weekend stays. It was built in 1902 but has had some improvements done over the years.

It's true hard work never killed anybody, but I figure, why take the chance?
