Pond Boss Forums FISH & FISHING Sunfish-Including Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass Redness on my LMB's mouths

I hope I am posting this question in the correct area. I am catching LMB in the 1-3 pound range now and I'd say that about half of them have reddening in the upper tooth area and sometimes at the back of the mouth above their esophagus. The fish are fat and healthy and many with eggs, but don't seem to have a lot in their stomachs. Is this a disease state of some sort? It isn't bloody, but it is blood colored. Anyone recognize this?? I should have posted a pic, and I will a little later in the day when I catch more. Thanks for your responses!
