Bill,
Thanks for the info. The pond is protected some and with it being fairly small (1/2 acre)I doubt I have very big waves, but it looks as if it needs something on it. I will see what I can find rock wise and I think the fabric is a good idea to keep the weeds down.
I am amazed just how wet the top of the dam is and in fact on the top (near the pond) from soaking up water from the pond. In fact I got several places where the dirt is wet up to 4 feet away. I assume this is normal and it will stop as some point?
