YP will spawn again this spring.
Yeah but I'll be without an age class for 2010 which hurts my ability to harvest a new age class each year.
BTW at least one of the females had egg development as you can see here. She's an 8 inch fish.
Either she started eggs before I planted her this fall, or they do develop in warmer water, but perhaps not as well as they would in cold water. Or there are exceptions and the literature that says they can't or won't in warmer water is not correct.
