For small, low maintenance, Texas ponds, I like the idea of CC and HBG with a feeder. Eat the cats at about 2 pounds and restock. Let the kids and the kids that have never grown up catch the HBG and restock as needed.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
