The guy i got them from said his buddy built his dock with them and filled the barrels with expanding foam, would even need lids then and more bouyant..

Also i think im framing mine in 2x12 to hide the barrels a little better.. Do you have any pics of yours floating. I wanna make sure the weight of the 2x12 that ill still be plenty out of the water, or i might be getting somemore barrels also..
