Ya and about those my buddy works at a dairy and he gave me about 5 barrels that were full of vannilla flavoring. smelled real good! A 3/4 pipe thread PVC plug works great for the center of those bung plugs. I also used silicone on the threads. probaly over kill but didnt want thise leaking. The plugs were cheap. like 4 for a buck.


Mine also came from a dairy. I have a couple that dont have the caps, but my barrels are wierd one side is fine thread the other is coarse, so it could be real fun finding caps.. I planned to silicone mine also.. My holes are alot bigger than 3/4 maybe 1 1/2 will work on the coarse one.. Thanks for the tip.. Did you say you got 15 barrels under your dock?

I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease..
