I wouldn't panic at all if it is empty.. I'd consider myself very lucky to have a new pond that I can stok and manage exactly how I want it.. If you do get low numbers I would honestly consider a fresh start, what the heck why not new house new pond grow together..

I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease..
