I'm really feeling left out.
I checked my hometown news in the Duluth News Tribune, and it said that North Dakota west of Fargo, and the part of Minnesota where Dwight lives, were closed due to weather. My older son and his wife live near Oklahoma City, and it is even closed.
We were at least supposed to get a really bad ice storm tonight. It's been canceled! It didn't get anywhere near as warm on our side of the mountain as it did on Todd's side, but it is now 33 degrees. They say it will just keep getting warmer overnight. At least we are supposed to get about an inch of rain on top of the 10-or-so inches of snow that is on the ground. So, at a minimum, we have a chance of a reasonable flood.
