Now, they are saying that this snow event may be HISTORIC for our area. I doubt it!
Maybe lower west MI will get slammed!
But, you guys in IN and OH should take precautions!
Tom Skilling of WGN says it may be within the top five storms of all time since records were kept for Chicago. This storm is projected to cover 60 percent of the country eventually. That's a a big storm. Reminds me of the blizzard of 78'.
I shipped a frozen fish today UPS to a customer in Niles, Michigan. I called him and asked him if maybe we should wait until next week due to the storm. We wouldn't want it to sit around somewhere and thaw out if the roads became impassable. He just laughed and said go ahead and send it and at first thought I was putting him on. I may have the last laugh with his money and he has a spoiled fish.
