I'd do a price comparison between the Northern suction hose and 2" PVC pipe. Don't forget to figure in any and all of the fittings that would be needed. The Northern Tool suction hose might have less flow than a PVC pipe because of the rougher inside walls.
Are you talking about the typical white, stiff PVC pipe used for plumbing?
Yep I was planning at a minimum to pick up a ball valve for the discharge end to make it easy to turn the flow on and off as needed.
