I have discovered a new 'pellet deception'. A friend of mine took a brown tube jig and cut the upper most .5 - .75 inches off and shoved a pellet in it. Next he ran his hook and line thru it and tossed it out. It worked on bluegill, catfish and carp. You don't even need a flyrod.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Never mind, NEDOC. I think I figured it out from your description.

Really nice hat. And I've modified the original post to include the "NEDOC presentation".

That's obviously Bruce in the middle, probably surrounded by his posse...

Okay. I recognize Sunil (lower left) and Guvnor Davidson (upper right), but I'm not sure who all the rest of them are.

Pardon the on-topic, but my pellets (Purina Gamefish) fit a #8 hook perfectly. I just jam them in the curve, and they stay on pretty good.

In my entire life, I have never been able to grow that much hair.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Careful, those are pictures from the last Midwest Regional Pond Boss Meeting. I won't say which one I am, but Shorty has blonde hair.
