Here in Southwest MI I am having a hard time finding a rental sheepsfoot compactor for clay layers in the bottom of pond. Anyone have any suggestions for the Kalamazoo Battle Creek area. Is there an alternative to a sheepsfoot that will work? It is not a huge area so could I get by with a jumping jack type compactor? Sorry if I should have put this in the soils area. Thanks all. jim
