I hope you can find some, I looked long and hard before I finally was talking to a state hatchery guy about if he knew where I could get some yearlings( 5-6") fish and he offered me up some, just a few for free so I cant help you but i was able to find tons of pay ponds that would play middle man for ya and let you pick out the ones brought in for delivery but they wanted a fortune for them and who knows what public river was raped for them. I am wroking up a trip all the way to Texas to get some Blues from Todd Overton! Not only does he have blues but he has a Good strain of them with good genetics as well!!

No I don't believ he does, but the catfish he has sounds like one of the best from a genetics stand point when it comes to Blues....

Try American Sportfish Hatchery in Montgomery Alabama or I go through all the states you mentioned if needed except NC.

rex they do nto have blue cats. Big pond wants to know if any others in the SE want blue cats so they can "share" the deilvery fee. I may be gettign some stuff as well but stil nto sure enought to justify the cost getting him out this way.

Maybe Todd can bring some to the Conference in April....If I take my truck as planned again I could hold over any number with no morts.

I can tell you from experiance I bought some blues about 6-7 year ago and bought channels about 6 months later, and the Channels are almost 3 times as big! The Channels are from the Govment. The blues are from South Carolina.
Now Tod says he's genetics in his blues are such that his growth rate are much better, very similar to channels.

My issue could be that I have no T-Shad. Tod tellsme that Tshad is more critical to Blues than even Large Mouth Bass, if you can believe that.... So I will be getting the TShad this year to from Greg.
