I've fresh water fished several times in Florida and I love it there because unlike around here any pond of any size can have nice fish. I've found some of my best fishing on small farm ponds in Florida. I think it is true that any hole, even a shallow one will fill with water. Just got back from Florida on business and I saw numerous places where someone was building a pond. It seemed that all they had to do is dig a shallow hole and it fills up. Only thing I wouldn't like about living there is snakes and gators. I was their last week very close to where that guy got taken by the 12 foot gator. I tell you one thing, you don't have to look far to find gators anymore. They're everywhere.
Gotta get back to fishin!
