pics of pond completed today. it was a hard pond to overcome due to continuous water flow from 2 seperate springs then the rocks on top of that. as you can see buy the core picture we went around some of the rocks instead of through them. then we had to flip over numerous rocks to get to the shale to put in the core and build the dam. the owner is not a fisherman but the way them rocks lay in their kinda makes you wonder just how good it could be with that spring water coming in the way it does. its about a 3 acre pond 17' at the deepest the rocks stacked around the hole are about 8' under water. watchin some of the post on how much per yard to build a pond should read how much to build a normal pond not one like this.
