Understood.

Hopefully that doesn't happen. I have already found some lures on the ground around the dam so someone has been walking around it fishing it....either the neighbors or kids crossing from across the fairway to get to it. Not sure how I'm going to handle that yet. Kinda torn on it. I know when I was a kid I really appreciated landowners who let me fish their ponds. On the flip side you have all the insurance issues. Hate to be Mr. Scrooge but in todays day & age it's almost mandatory. I enjoyed reading other threads here about people's authorized guests.

Looks like your half of the pond can't really be easily seen from yours or your neighbors house to the left.

People may know that nobody lives there right now assuming it's vacant.

Once you move in, you'll get a feel for who's fishing on it, and you can decide what to do at that time.

I would absolutely get it posted for no trespassing right after closing.

Hopefully the neighbors are cool, or at least keep to themselves.

We went and did our pre-closing inspection on the home today. I'm hoping to get someone out this week before Thanksgiving to look at the spillway plumbing. I walked down and looked at the pipe coming out the other side of the dam and it looks like a fairly new pipe - looked to have a decent flow coming out.

Didn't get to see the neighbors but saw they were in the process of putting up Christmas decorations....so at least they have some holiday spirit lol

Maybe take them a Christmas cake soon or something to strike up conversation.
