well, when it's your bass that you're talkin' about it definitely is.

went to check on the youngsters today and was pretty happy with some of the results i saw. with the weather cooling down, i can take a few pics without worrying about hurting 'em too much. first pic was a chunker. 5lbs. 2oz. at 19" long. second was even better. 5-0 at 18.5" long. third was a little older fish, 6-14 at 22". would like to have seen that one over 7, but i'm not gonna complain. not richmond mills bass, but i guess they'll do. i was really worried about the pond with the drought we've had, but it looks like the fish are holding on. i'm still not gonna rest until i produce another double digit in this pond though. hope y'all are doing well with your own projects. here's the pix.
