Ok I have tossed the idea around and not sure if I should add any grass carp and how many to my 1/4 pond.
It seems that some sort of pond weed had started growing pretty well once the FA disappeared. Of course I am not sure what it is.
I think it may either Naiad, Milfoil, Chara, Coontail or a mixture of this stuff.
My thoughts are since the pond is fairly new should I wait before adding some carp so the BG and other fish can have the safety of the weeds or just get them in to start working now?
Is this a good time to add the carp or is spring better?
Would it be ok to just add 1 now and see if that would help or would it be able to eat most of the weeds leaving my bait fish vulnerable to the LMB?
