hybrid crapie-cross of white ad black. You need to get a copy of PB magazine. I'm nervous if you read too much of the Ken Fish Hatchery magazine you will be really confused. Most of it is marketing with very little valid science. Sorry to be so blunt but somone has got to be.

Greg is right. If you use the Georgia Giant website, there is no science to back any of their claims.

Turtles take up space and oxygen, which your fish really need to for growth rate and quality. Wow. I didn't know turtles had gills.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Actually what they're saying is that turtles consume such a tremendous amount of oxygen from the atmosphere, that the water can no longer absorb enough at the air/water interface. It's a well known fact that aerations sytems are known to completely fail because of ponds holding more than ten turtles/acre. *rolleyes*

Now Grandpa. Let it all out.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
