Dr. Tiu is one cool woman who is VERY into fish! I recently attended an aquaculture lecture of hers here in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, Philippines! To say she gets around is an understatement!

Very true. She's also very helpful with information even for those outside of Ohio where she works. In fact all of the people in university, extension, state fish hatchery, and other capacities over there in Ohio don't consider state boundaries, which is the way it should be.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

She did say she wasn't sure what to think about your last sentence, " To say she gets around is an understatement."  (She has a sense of humor)

That is a very good policy - especially since they are suggesting SRAC fact sheets (Southern Regional Aquaculture Center) !

Greg, Laura appreciated your positive comments about her although she said she wasn't sure what to think of the "getting around" comment. Of course she knows what you meant. Eric, Ditto! If we all share we all win. Knowledge is power! That's what this site is about too!
