Your pond is fairly small, with that mean limited areas for your sunfish to spawn. This means you're going to get lots of crossing, back crossing and with it all kinds of genetic surprises... And you get more interspecies interbreeding with turbid water as the fish can't see who they're having sex with! 
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
