I am just now looking to do the same thing. I have a one acre pond with a well balanced mix of bass, blue gill, and red ear sunfish.
Do I need to do anything to make sure that the addition of the trout won't adversely affect the existing fish? I am considering adding minnows to offset what the trout night eat. I can also setup a broadcast feeder if that will help the trout.
Also, how many trout can I squeeze into this pond for the 6 - 8 months that they might live?
