I bought a brand new tent a few years back with visions of camping out on a fishing vacation. It was the Cabalas Alaskan model. Unfortuantely I was very disappointed at all the campgrounds I stayed at except for one. They were the noisest messiest places I had ever been to. The wife and I had to pitch the tent not to far from the swimming pool in Vermont, and there was a band of at least 5o kids running around with squirt guns until at least 11 P.M. Now I like kids just like everybody else, but I'll be darned if I'm going to listen to that kind of racket while I'm trying to sleep. We left first thing in the morning. The tent hasn't been out since. We stay at hotels now even on a fishing vacation.
