History: Four year old 3 acre pond stocked three years ago with 1750 bream and 175 bass. Fish once or twice a year as I am out of state. MOst outings result in fish of various sizes and in plump conditions. Last outting in the heat of summer I took three medium size BG, a 4 pound bass, a two pound bass, and a few small ones that were hanging out along the banks. I've been throwing everyt bass under 12' out, but have seen some folks who only throw out anything between 12 and 16 inches. Is there merit to putting the small ones back in, or should they come out as well?
I figure you can never get all the small ones, so throwing them out only thins the numbers.
